Federal Management’s Greatest Achievements of 2020
2020 was an extremely unique year that, as much as we would like to, we will most likely never forget. It presented unprecedented challenges that Federal Management, along with almost every other business in the UK, were forced to navigate through.
It is with the collaborative will and effort from our teams, friends and clients that allowed us to successfully enable the growth of the business.
We take great pride in being the No1 for UK & International Commercial Debt Collection Requirements, and this is demonstrated in how we react to such situations.
It is always important to remember that when faced with a situation like no other, that you try to look for the positives whatever they may be. We have put together this article to shed light on the positives and some of our greatest achievements from 2020.

Significant Improvements Were Made To Our IT & Telephone Infrastructure
To enhance our already industry-leading debt collection service, we invested in a massive overhaul to our entire IT and Telephone infrastructure.
The key benefit of this endeavour was to enhance our debt recovery rates to make them even better than before by using the latest developments in cutting-edge, industry-leading technology. The upgrades we have made to our systems will make our debt recovery rate even better than before.
Customer satisfaction, like always, was at the forefront of this decision. The upgrade will also enable us to communicate with our clients even more effectively and faster than before.
As well as this, there are also internal benefits to the upgrade, as this will enable all departments across our offices nationwide to communicate with each other, improving the collection service even more.
We Successfully Fought (And Won Against) The Difficulties Of COVID-19
At Federal Management, our core values are our clients and our teams across our nationwide offices. Throughout 2020, we not only retained both of these but grew them also.
Our mission was to maintain and enhance our service levels for our clients regardless of the COVID19 pandemic looming over our heads.
Unlike other businesses that unfortunately had to close or lose employees as a result of the financial impact caused by the pandemic, we were able to continue to grow the organisation by recruiting more staff across all of our teams and branches.
The COVID19 pandemic tried its best to put up barriers, but our fantastic team powered through. All the decisions we took and adaptations we made during 2020, in response to the COVID19 pandemic, produced continuous improvement and optimisation of our services.
This allowed us to continue to innovate and deliver the most efficient and effective solutions for our clients.
Accreditations We Achieved in 2020
Our ISO:9001 Accreditation Was Successfully Renewed For The 10th Year
The ISO:9001 Quality Accreditation sets out the criteria for an organisation’s quality management system. This is used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide services that meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
We take pride in the fact that our accreditation was once again renewed for another year.
Every year since 2010, external auditors have visited us to monitor our progress and validate the efforts of the business. We have successfully achieved the highest level of accreditation year on year with a Grade 1 rating. Read: 10 Year anniversary of our ISO9001 Quality Accreditation
Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI) Accreditation
We were successfully awarded our Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI) accreditation by the Credit Services Association (CSA), which is designed to assess a Debt Collectors’ knowledge and scope of understanding regarding industry compliance.
This demonstrates the calibre of the service that we have consistently provided over our long history and the expert knowledge that our award-winning teams hold.
The accreditations we hold with the CSA have been achieved with a 100% pass rate.
Awarded Excellence For Training Practices By The Financial Services National College
As well as this, the Financial Services College (FSC) came to audit us and awarded us “Excellence for our training practices”.
We are the only Debt Collection Agency that is accredited by the Financial Services College which provides a clear indication that our services are industry-leading.
All of the accreditations and awards that we achieved in 2020 validate our efforts of providing only the highest levels of service for our clients and across the Debt Collection Industry, and that awarding and official bodies recognise this also
Significant Increases To International Business Debt Collection Recovery Rates
As a result of hard work from our industry-leading International Debt Collection teams, we were able to enhance our already successful service by increasing recovery rates across the board.
We are world leaders and innovators when it comes to the collection of International Debts. Across the business, one of our core missions is to continuously set and raise the standards, ensuring our clients get their money recovered quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
We Raised Money For Various UK Charities
Year on year, we raise hundreds of pounds for charities, and 2020 was no different. Some of the charities we helped raise money for included Save The Children, Breast Cancer Now, Children In Need and Jeans for Genes.
The team at Federal Management are looking forward to raising money for more charities across the UK in 2021.
