If the case is contested you will have to attend or send somebody that dealt with the case to explain the nature of the debt to the court.

All Copies of correspondence received from your debtor can be faxed or posted to you at your request.

A3 : What are the chances of the debtor paying if a judgment is awarded?
Each debt collection situation and debtor is different, and it depends on a variety of factors. If the debtor has the money or assets to cover the cost then the chances are good, and many debtors pay up as soon as judgement is awarded. However not all debtors have the money or assets to pay their debt. Debtors on low incomes or companies with no assets may offer little chance of success. At Federal Management Limited we always check an individuals and/or companies financial situation and assets prior to commencing legal action to prevent any unnecessary costs.

A4 : Can I use Credit Reference Reports or Companies House reports in court?
All information supplied by Federal Management Limited in respect of any credit reference, credit checks, enquiry, company credit reports etc, is supplied in the strictest of confidence for you eyes only and cannot be used in evidence or divulged to any third party.
Copies of correspondence received by Federal Management Limited and our progress reports can be used in evidence.

A5 : Can I reclaim the court fees, issue fee etc?
The answer is usually yes; the court fees and interest are added onto your claim and are usually added to the Judgment if you win your case.
